After childbirth and despite losing over 50 pounds, this fit 50-year-old was experiencing abdominal discomfort and low back pain. Her abdominal rectus muscles were elongated and displaced away from the middle of her abdomen (diastasis recti). A modified abdominoplasty with liposuction of her waist was recommended. Only a small amount of her skin was removed along with plicating her rectus muscles from her chest down to her pubic area. Her umbillus was floated and secured more inferiorly without the need for a scar. Her waist and lower abdomen were liposuctioned allowing her to be very confident with her new tan lines.
